What Type Muse are YOU in a Boudoir Photoshoot?
You already know you're curious. Eight questions will tell you why.
You're A 'One in a Million Girl'...
No two women walk into my studio for the same reason, so no two sessions are ever the same. I don't work from a template. Everything starts with who you are. That's what this quiz is for. It tells me what inspires you, so that when we meet, I already know how to be inspired by you.
A Visual Love Letter: to Him, but FOR YOU.
He'll get the album, and he'll never look at you the same way again. But the moment you see yourself the way he always has? That part was always meant for you.
Not a pretty picture. HERE, you are ART.
Every image is composed, lit, and finished like art. It's designed to build a sensual storyline for a killer album. You'll decide after your session what you'd like to purchase in the form of album, wall art or and/or digital collection.

A MESSAGE FROM CATE
After years of photographing women, I've noticed something. Within a few minutes of our first conversation, I usually know which woman I'm talking to. The reason a woman gives for booking is almost never the whole story. You have reasons for being inspired to do this, and those reasons inspire me. Let's learn what kind of muse you are before we've even met. It takes about two minutes.
You might learn something about yourself.
In their own words
Real women who almost talked themselves out of it, and are so glad they didn’t.

Voted Best Of Boudoir for 10 consecutive Years
and Boudoir Photographer of the Year 2022.
This special invitation requires you to book and complete a 2026 date...while we are still in your
milestone anniversary year.
Be honest. How long have you been thinking about a boudoir session?
(There’s no wrong answer.)
When you imagine the photos, where do they live?
Follow the reason that made your chest feel something.
How do you imagine your getting ready vibe?
Pick the one that feels BEST to you.
Whatever you chose, you’re in good company. Most women feel it too, and leave feeling like themselves again.
What are the adjectives of your dream session?
Choose as many adjectives as feel true.
WHICH BOUDOIR WOMAN ARE YOU?
YOUR RESULTS ARE IN.
(And I have thoughts 😏).
Tell me where to send them...
(Your answers stay between us. So does everything else)
I'll include a little something because you made it this far.
Your boudoir archetype
THE CELEBRANT
You're the one who remembers. The birthdays, the anniversaries, the dates that matter to everyone you love. You've probably planned more celebrations for other people than you could count.
Milestones do something interesting to us. They make us feel time passing in a way ordinary Tuesdays never do. You feel it, and some part of you wants proof that this moment happened, that you were here, exactly like this, at this exact point in your life.
That's what your session is. Not a performance for anyone, but a record. Women like you rarely regret marking a moment. The regret always goes to the moments that slipped by unmarked.
This time, you're the one being celebrated.
Let's mark the date.

THE MUSE
You've wanted this for a while. Probably longer than you've admitted, even to yourself.
Most women are raised to need a reason before they do something for themselves. It has to be for someone, or earn its place, or be practical. So the wanting stays quiet. You save the photos on other women's pages. You wonder what yours would look like, and then you talk yourself out of it.
The quiet isn't shame. It's that this feels precious, and precious things tend to get protected.
Here's what I've learned photographing women like you: the wanting is the reason. It doesn't need a second one. Your images might live in a nightstand drawer for years, seen by no one but you, and that's exactly as it should be.
Consider this your permission slip.
Book something just for you.

THE RENAISSANCE
Something has shifted for you. A marriage ended, a body changed, a hard year finally loosened its grip. Or maybe nothing dramatic happened at all, and you simply woke up one day aware that you'd stopped looking for yourself.
After a big change, it's common for your sense of who you are to lag behind who you've become. You're living a new chapter while still carrying the old picture of yourself around. The mirror hasn't caught up.
A session like this isn't a before-and-after. It's closer to an introduction. Many women walk into my studio unsure and leave having met someone they'd forgotten was there.
You don't have to wait until you feel ready. The session is part of how you get there.
Begin your next chapter.
Your boudoir archetype
THE ROMANTIC
It's for him. That's the story, and it's a lovely one.
Here's something I've noticed after years of doing this: the gift framing is often what makes it feel allowed. It's much easier to say yes to something for someone you love than to say yes to yourself. You're a generous person. Giving comes easily. Receiving is harder.
So yes, your photos will stop him in his tracks. But somewhere in the middle of your session, something else happens. You catch a glimpse of yourself the way he's been seeing you all along. That's usually the moment women tell me the gift turned out to be theirs.
Let him have the album. You get to keep the feeling.
Plan the surprise.
Thank you! Let's do this.
Thank you for trusting me to be your boudoir photographer. I will read your responses and get in touch.
We'll chat about your needs, desires and timing
and determine together what feels right for you.
xoxo, Cate
You’re already art. Now let’s prove it to you.
